Tanals has been a family business since 1936. Always independent, it has forged strong partnerships with its suppliers.
The only Gates manufacturer of PU timing belts in France, PT House Gates in France, Esbelt distributor in France, BehaBelt distributor in France, Tanals develops its own processes, production machines and a whole range of niche products.
Developing innovative solutions
For several years now, Tanals has been developing new solutions for its partners Gates, Esbelt and BehaBelt for their raw materials. These new solutions are exported through the networks of these three major partners.
ERO junctions, developed and manufactured by Tanals (protected by 10 patents) are among the solutions developed and tested in close collaboration with our partners.
Tanals exports the ERO Joint® family of products worldwide. These products are distributed through the sales and distribution networks of our partners Gates, Esbelt and BehaBelt.
In this way, any request made to Tanals will be relayed locally by our partner, through its distribution network, or handled directly with its agreement.

Gates
Tanals is Gates' one and only "Fabricator" for polyurethane Timing belts in France. Tanals is also Gates' PT House for rubber belts in France.
At the beginning of 2011, we developed and patented a process enabling a mechanical assembly system in PosiClean® and FlatClean FC12™ monoblock belts. Gates then asked us to develop a mechanical joint of the same type on Poly Chain® Carbon™ Volt® in order to have a solution for troubleshooting transmissions. So we optimized ERO Joint® on Poly Chain® Carbon™ Volt®, and invented (patented) the ERO Joint® Ultimate solution. These assembly solutions have since been tested by Gates and validated.
In 2014, Tanals patented ERO Joint HP, a mechanical joining solution applied to polyurethane Timing belts. The only mechanical joining solution as strong as a standard Belt.
Esbelt
Tanals is an Esbelt distributor for France. In 2011, in order to provide our customers with a new assembly solution, we developed and patented the process for making an ERO joint® mechanical joint in all types of conveyor belt. Esbelt, interested in this system, took part in the mechanical tests and is collaborating with us in the marketing phase.
BEHAbelt
Tanals is a distributor of Behabelt products for France. At the end of 2012, to extend the ERO Joint® range, we invented and patented several versions of ERO joint® mechanical assembly solutions for polyurethane and polyester round and V-belts. These solutions are constantly being improved in close collaboration with Behabelt.
