Documentation

The printing press used to manufacture mainly cardboard-based packaging is made up of various compartments, including a belt feeder.
The machine's configuration calls for belts to be installed with a mechanical junction.
The most commonly used version is a belt with a plastic spiral fastener, with very low mechanical strength in the connection area.

TANALS has developed a belt with an ERO Joint® HP joint together with a mounting tool for valuable installation aid.
The ERO Joint® HP largely replaces the plastic clip (Zip Link) thanks to its superior mechanical strength.

The belt is mounted using the holding tool and a locking pin.

Mounting ERO Joint HP belts on feeders
  • Feeder belts are installed in 2 sets of 12 pieces.
  • White polyurethane Synchronous belts, 32 AT 10 - 840 mm, feature a low-stretch textile reinforcement and a green polyamide fabric (PAZ) on teeth.
  • A 3mm red 40 shore A rubber coating (Linatex) is present on the back of the belts to promote adhesion of the cardboard to the belt; a food-grade version (FDA) is available in white Linaplus 45 shore A rubber.
  • Cardboard sheets are vacuumed through 35 holes (centered) by belt.
