Patented mechanical fastening system for polyurethane synchronous belts, EROJOINT® HP enables fast installation without complete disassembly of the drive system. Available with stainless steel hinge pin and Zylon®, steel, aramid or stainless steel cords, it offers mechanical strength equivalent to welded belts and adapts to numerous pitches, widths, coatings, machining options and guiding systems.
The EROJOINT® HP (Hinge Pin) mechanical fastening system is available for H, XH, T5, T10, AT5, AT10, AT10V, T20, AT20, 8M, 14M, WT10 and WH pitches, for all widths from 6 mm, with steel, Kevlar or stainless steel reinforcements.
The mechanical strength of EROJOINT® HP belts is equivalent to that of welded belts.
Since the first patent in 2014, we have constantly improved EROJOINT® HP, which in its latest version adopts Zylon® cords (the polymer fiber with the highest tensile and bending strength).
Assembly pins are made of stainless steel. No minimum diameter is required. EROJOINT® HP belts can be used with all types of coating (Supergrip, Linatex, PU, Sylomer, etc.), machining, cleats and drive guides.

Benefits
- EROJOINT HP® replaces any welded belt with ultra-fast installation.
- The Zylon version is even more efficient, more stable under heavy loads and more durable.
EROJOINT® HP is a patented mechanical splicing solution for polyurethane belts. A hinge pin with a single stainless steel rod is used to close the belt.
EROJOINT® HP is produced in 300 mm-wide sheets, cut to width and welded to the base belt.
Belts are available with steel, aramid, HF or stainless steel cord, with all types of coating, machining and guiding system.
Tensile strength and service life are similar to those of welded belts.
We can supply finished belts, as well as plates that can be welded to polyurethane belts of any brand (with the same melting parameters as the belts).
Alternatives
Spiral joints
Mechanical spiral joints are as easy to assemble as an EROJOINT® HP joint, but their mechanical strength is very low.
Pin Joint
The Pin Joint mechanical jointing system is more difficult to assemble than an EROJOINT® HP joint.
Mechanical strength is also lower than that of an EROJOINT® HP joint.
